Ahmed Boutaleb

Ahmed Boutaleb is a Senior Director for commercial real estate and multi-tenant complexes at the Estrie Desjardins Business Centre.  Working in finance for over 10 years, he helps companies in both local business development and large-scale transactions. Mr Boutaleb wants to ensure that Commerce Sherbrooke will get the best out of his knowledge and skills.

Sophie Breault

Sophie Breault

Sophie Breault, Marketing Manager for Carrefour de l’Estrie since 2007, has worked for many years in the retail sales sector. With experience ranging from store manager to marketing manager in advertising, Sophie Breault is well-equipped to deal with the major changes currently occurring in the business sector. She is also actively involved in the Sherbrooke community, working with Tourisme Sherbrooke, the CHUS Foundation, and the Collège de Sherbrooke Foundation, to name a few.

Rene Couture

René Couture

President of IGA Couture in Fleurimont, René Couture has been actively engaged in the Sherbrooke community for over 20 years. The founding President of the Fleurimont Chamber of Commerce, René Couture is also member of the Board of Directors of Bassin Laurentien, an association which represents IGA merchants in Quebec.

Éric Fernet

Éric Fernet has been working in educational establishments for 12 years and currently manages the liaison services between the Cégep de Sherbrooke and businesses. Prior to this he was a training advisor and consultant for the Cégep de Sherbrooke’s training centre.  During his time there, he worked on a variety of projects linked to skill development. As a result, he has collaborated and taken part in the organisational development of a number of regional companies and organisations.

Carole Larose

Carole Larose

Carole Larose has been working in management for 25 years and has occupied the post of Assistant Director for Technical Services at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université (CHUS- Sherbrooke University Hospital) since 2008. Her role is immensely diverse as she is responsible for property development, sustainable development, building construction, security services, parking facilities as well as maintenance and food services. She has developed close working partnerships with a number of other regional public organisations, with the ultimate goal being a coordinated approach to projects and the sharing of expertise.

Julie Roy has been working in retail for over 20 years. She is a co-owner, associate and director at Econosports and Hockey Experts as well as a partner and associate at Sports experts and Atmosphère in Sherbrooke. Supremely adept in the creation of innovative new business strategies, she wants to put her skills to good use at Commerce Sherbrooke.
